It's officially spring time the solar cycle brings about regrowth, but the economy is still in a deep freeze.  In hindsight the bailout of the car companies was a bad idea and failed to prevent the inevitable.  For the sake of political ambition the government gave the car companies all they asked for and more. Taxpayer, and the bailout translates into roughly $2,300.00 per person in the U.S., that you will be asked to pay.  Forget golden parachutes, that was the 90s.  In 2008 we're going to upgrade them to platinum, and $700 billion will make for a nice soft landing.
